According to latest news, India and Pakistan has once again post[ones the security level talks on water sharing which was earlier expected to start in Islamabad on January 28.
Moreover, the new dates for the talks are yet to be finalized.
It is said in news that the two-day talks between the two nations were cancelled due to the growing tension along the Line of Control [LoC] in the past few weeks.
Earlier, it was said that Indian and Pakistan officials will hold talks to discuss the Tulbul navigation project-Wullar Barrage issue during the talks.
This is the second high-level dual talks that have been called off between India and Pakistan due to the growing tension and the recent violation of ceasefire by the Pakistan army along the LoC in Poonch sector of Jammu and Kashmir.
Earlier this month, Pakistan Commerce Minister Makhdoom Amin Fahim called off a scheduled visit to India to attend a business meet in Agra.
